Inspired by the quirky 'doll hats' popular during the late 1930s and early 1940s, this mini top hat is named for genius Parisian milliner Yvette Delort. It's made from a very special short-nap fur felt, which has a beautiful sheen and a plushy, velvety feel. This one is made in a lovely cerise (cherry pink) color, or inky black, trimmed with matching silk veiling and a fringed ribbon bow. Fully lined in silk taffeta or shantung, so it looks as beautiful on the inside as it does on the outside.
 
The hat is asymmetrical and slightly mini, measuring 10.5" / 26.5cm long by 8.5" / 21.5cm wide and 4" / 10cm high. It perches forward and to one side on the head, held in place with a fabric-covered elastic and/or combs, so any size can wear it.
