This ‘Una’ ladies top hat is made from lush, long-napped fur felt in a range of colors. The veiling is rare and antique, delicate silk woven in a hexagonal pattern and edged with a beautiful scalloped lace border. It veiling can be worn down over the eyes, birdcage style, or folded back up onto the brim of the hat. Tiny ribbon pleats circle the crown of the hat, ending in a large ribbon bow in the back. Finished with springy hand-curled pheasant feathers. Fully lined in silk taffeta or shantung, so it looks as beautiful on the inside as it does on the outside.
 
I have only a very limited amount of this veiling available- just enough to make only a few hats, and when it's gone, this style will be discontinued. 
 
Wear it with a lady tux, or any holiday or special occasion ensemble. 
 
The hat is slightly mini, and measures 9"/23cm long by 8"/20cm wide and 5"/13cm high (plus an extra few inches in height for the feathers). It perches forward on the head, held in place with a fabric-covered elastic and/or combs, so any size can wear it.
