About the event
Learn to make glorious one-size-fits-all flower headbands in this full-day class to be be held in a 19-century Parisian apartment and atelier. We will use a mix of materials including velvet ribbon, vintage silk millinery veiling, and flowers from the atelier's large stock on hand. You are welcome to bring your own materials and supplementary supplies (for example, flowers you have chosen to match a special dress).
Outside of a basic sewing kit (needles, scissors, thimble), all of the necessary tools will be available for your use during class. However, if you would like to bring your own head form for use during class and later at home, you can get a discount on your first order with my favorite block maker, Guy Morse Brown Hat Blocks, by mentioning that I referred you. I recommend either a dolly head or a utility block in balsa wood.
Class hours: 10am-5:30pm, with a 1 hour break for lunch
Space is limited to 6 students
Sewing level: Beginner to Advanced
