Learn to make the essential accessory for Renaissance through 18th century and carnival costuming in this 6-hour class to be held in a 19-century Parisian apartment and atelier. We will make a variety of different styles of ruff from different time periods. All materials for the workshop are included in the class fee. Most of the necessary tools will be available for your use during class. You are welcome to bring your own materials and supplementary supplies, a list of suggested materials and for a basic sewing kit to bring will be provided upon booking. 

Class hours: 10am-5:30pm, with a 1.5 hour break for lunch 

Space is limited to 6 students 

Sewing level: Intermediate to Advanced. We will be sewing by hand and machine during class.

Cancellation Policy

In the unlikely event that we must cancel a workshop or session, a full refund will be given to each student. In case of cancellation by a student, notice of the cancellation must be sent by email to tricia@houseofnines.com no less than 72 hours before the start of the class in order to receive a refund.
